 Hi everyone. It is about 1am and I am working on some new things for you all. I look back at the selected post that opened up this blog, when I initially started this to share with you all about Emerson's diagnosis and his treatment plan.We plan to continue to share stories about Mac. Our hope is that this blog will continue to be a light in time of darkness for so many. We hope that you continue to journey with us on this new adventure. Though as hard as it has been and will be to know that Mac is no longer with us, we rejoice in knowing that he is with Jesus and no longer suffering. Shaken up

Caution, this post is real, as they all are. However it may make some of you uncomfortable.  Have you every watched Moana? There is a scene where moana is after Maui. Well in the middle of the night as she is voyaging there is a storm, she ask the water to help. She wakes up ship wrecked on an island and is upset, because she believes she is off course. She realizes she landed on the island where Maui has been. Well let me give you a better picture. The disciples sitting in a boat, and there is a bad storm. All the while Jesus is asleep. WHAT! The disciples in fear of drowning awoke Jesus.  “And they went and woke him, saying, "Save us, Lord; we are perishing." And he said to them, "Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?" Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. Happy Birth day month!

Good morning.  I want to only place thoughts in my head and my heart that are going to leave lasting memories. This is sometimes hard to do. I’ve realized this as I walk with Christ. Many assume that oh those Jesus loving folk got it all together, they just call on His name and blessings rain down. Well yeah that’s true...but even the most righteous have to go through trials and tribulations. I mean have you heard of Job, he got his world turned upside down. Watch to find out about Job So is everything Emerson going through fair? As his mother I would say absolutely not. Do I believe there is a greater purpose in all of Mac’s suffering and his road to recovery and being rid of this leukemia? YES! So despite my flesh wanting to yell from mountain top of how unfair this all is, my spirit desires that I continue to trust in Jesus and his plan for my son.
