Ways to HELP

On November 8th, 2019 five month old Emerson Calderon was asked to be admitted directly to pediatric floor of Oschner hospital. Since birth, he's experienced issues with glaucoma that have been extensively followed by an Ophthalmologist deriving multiple visits and follow ups to find the best course of treatment. In the last month, additional health issues arose leading to visits to the ER,  blood test and ultrasounds  which culminated in an MRI. He was given the tentative diagnosis: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

The imaging revealed infiltration into his brain, a large mass in his groin and small masses in his scrotum. He will require chemo delivered through a port in his chest as well as intrathecal chemo (via the spinal canal) along with focused radiation. This is only the beginning of the long road ahead depending on his reaction to treatments.

With Emerson being a small medical mystery since birth, my sister in law Elizabeth has not been able to return to work since June.  My brother is supporting his family of 5 and while they're managing as best as they can, they need and will continue to need support through this tough illness. Please donate to help my family. Anything helps.

This little Mac truck is resilient and a fighter since day one. We have faith and put our trust in God to help him bulldoze through this illness. Thank you for your support.

1st and foremost PRAYER
*We believe that God is doing a mighty work in Emerson.
Daniel was a man who was able to interpret dreams. Yet there was a dream that took him 21 days prior to understanding. Yet we know his cry to God to understand didn’t go on deaf ears.
"Then he said to me, "Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words."
