Ask and God will move

Good morning everyone. Well my mom says I can write again. I mean I would have written last night but I had a rough afternoon.
I’m going to get the details out the way, because have I got a story for you.
Since our last post I had a follow up with the cancer doctor and well, it was all good! I didn’t have to get stuck with the doctor getting a red bag (blood) or golden bag (platelets). I’m not so worried about my siblings or cousins loving on me, as they are covered with germs 🤧
The sticky part of my days is that I have been throwing🤮 up more. As a matter of fact I threw up so many times, my mother actually had to change her clothes like many times. So I been getting feeds through the button in my belly. I don’t particular care for it, but I understand why. I mean last night my mommy connected me to the feeding pump. I think she is concerned about my weight and of course all the abnormal stuff that was happening to my blood test. Between you and me I know she doesn’t like having to connect me to so much stuff since being home. I would agree it’s nice to be held without feeling like a cable box.

So if you are reading this I can only hope you can see Jesus hands in my life and my family. Now back on 1/7/20, I reached out about a fence project. Well you will not believe it but it happened yesterday the 1st of February. My siblings had to go through the destruction of their swing set, before I joined them in this world. Mostly due to damage from little bugs (termites), primarily from neighboring homes that had issues. As my brother and sister do love being outside, it was a bit difficult being outside without a fully enclosed structure. Well now they can run, jump, play with all those balls! ANYTIME!
So after that initial post there was an outpouring of those wanting to help. Primarily from our church home, and even random persons who had heard my story.
To be honest within a day of posting, there was a group from our church who were planning to coordinate everything (I.e. measurements, demolition, supplies).

Can you believe that within 5 hours, both of our fences were demolished, and brand new fences were put up! I even managed to sleep through most of it, but I was keeping an eye from upstairs window. It is truly amazing how God works through his people. My mom read a scripture that was so fitting to this experience.

“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:13-14

During this journey of my illness my mom has not been shy about asking. Asking for provisions for not only our household but just overall needs. There is talk about a foundation of sorts to be started to meet needs of other families dealing with cancer. The thing is it’s easy to ask. Yet you must understand that as Jesus is our intercessor he is not a genie. There to grant wishes at our beck and call. I mean often times you may feel that your prayers are not answered, or at least not fulfilled in the way you desire. The reality is that even my cancer is in God’s will. Though I know he does not desire for the suffering of his children, but my life is going to bigger than what I could ever expect.
You see asking is one thing, but asking so that all glory will go unto our Heavenly Father is key.
God never fails (watch me)

Hi Jesus. Thank you for your countless blessings in my life. For the health of my body during this time home. I pray that outside of the physical structure of my families new fence, that your name will be glorified. That a mere gracias to the ladies and men who served us your name will be praised. I can’t wait to be able to play outside. In Jesus name, Amen

  1. Ephesians 3: (16) I pray that from the treasures of his glory he will empower you with inner strength by his Spirit, (17) so that the Christ may live in your hearts through your trusting. Also I pray that you will be rooted and founded in love,  (18) so that you, with all God’s people, will be given strength to grasp the breadth, length, height and depth of the Christ's love, (19) yes, to know it, even though it is beyond all knowing, so that you will be filled with all the fullness of God.

    (20) Now to him who by his power working in us is able to do far beyond anything we can ask or imagine, (21)  to him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus from generation to generation forever. Amen.
