So a cool room helps, even if it means I look like I’m living in Alaska. Good evening everyone. So today mama bear had a mission. LEAVE THE HOSPITAL. My eldest had a follow up with the pulmonologist. We have been dealing with a cough, that is far worse on exertion. Now how do you tell a 4 year old boy to not play or run around?  🧐   This meant leaving Emerson behind with his ayeya. Now you would think I could just leave with worrying and having million questions. I think I managed well not messaging her. It was quite pleasant with Manny. I forget to enjoy them 1:1. Despite me reminding parents of multiples that they need to have separate moments with each of their kids, thus current season has thrown me for a loop.  After Manny appt, we went to Whole Foods where he chose some fruit and yogurt. I then headed back to drop him off for his young Rembrandt art class. He learned about circles, patterns and overlapping.  Then it was off to my parents, as my dad, pere-pere, picked up Mia. Late gifting for my daddy! I think I heard him say he would love horizontal  Hello family and friends. This is a special post for my daddy.  I know that many of you reading this blog look at my mom as like superwoman  🦸🏽 , and she totally is. She is also just a mama who loves her child. The same can be said about Elvin, my daddy. So while mommy is here all day, often with the help of mama Rosa, my ayeya (Abuela) my daddy is doing his duties.  From 7:30-5 he is a liaison at a charter school for the Spanish speaking children (close to 40). They have given to him additional duties:  ✅ getting kids on bus, ✅ intervening on kids who need additional attention ✅ reading with the ESL children All this with an  👨🏾‍🏫 electrical engineering degree and recently  👨🏾‍🚒 firefighter certifications!  🚒 Now to top it off he wrangles my siblings, Emmanuel and Emelia, with the help of my ayeya ✅ getting them ready for school ✅ packing...

Good morning.  I want to only place thoughts in my head and my heart that are going to leave lasting memories. This is sometimes hard to do. I’ve realized this as I walk with Christ. Many assume that oh those Jesus loving folk got it all together, they just call on His name and blessings rain down. Well yeah that’s true...but even the most righteous have to go through trials and tribulations. I mean have you heard of Job, he got his world turned upside down. Do I believe there is a greater purpose in all of Mac’s suffering and his road to recovery and being rid of this leukemia? YES! So despite my flesh wanting to yell from mountain top of how unfair this all is, my spirit desires that I continue to trust in Jesus and his plan for my son. Good evening family and friends. I want to first thank God, and by the power of His Holy Spirit for giving us a brand new day. We were hoping for a quiet day, but our Mac is full of surprises.  By the grace of Jesus he had not been vomiting much. There was minimum blood, primarily from the mouth. An attempt to feed him through his g-tube was done yesterday with success, of a whopping 20ml/cc. That is actually less than an ounce, but we are going slow and that’s okay. Well in an attempt to feed again I ‘vented my the tube.       *basically I place the tube, unclamped and allow whatever is in his belly to drain ✅ 1st time it was bright red, but not from active bleeding, just big mucous  ✅ 2nd time less blood, but a whole lot more mucous Have you ever seen ghostbusters, the first one, with the pink goo, well that’s what all this excess mucous reminds me of. This post may be a short one, as a whole lot has happened in a little amount of time. So at the beginning of this week due to the astute observation of my husband of an inappropriate a/c duct, we were moved. Like they sang on the Jeffersons ‘we moving on up’. Thus room is similar to the larger room we had during a previous visit.  Since our upgrade Mac has been vomiting a bit more, this time blood.  Initially it was just like slight tinge in the phlegm/vomit. Well as of last night it was just about all and only blood. So much so that the on call team ordered labs and blood was transfused ( go back to 11/10/19 post, Jesus transfused all of our sins onto himself). By morning shift change, I was attempting to help Emerson with one intense episode of vomit, that no later does his nurse walk in to help.
