Hallelujah: thanks be to Jesus!

Do you believe in miracles? I mean I’m not talking about
-getting the parking spot closest to the store
-finding your size in the shoe/clothing you desire
-kids eating broccoli without some incentive being needed
I’m talking about (click to read each one):

But the interesting story is what follows. Is the story of the centurion (soldier in Roman army). He had a servant who was very ill. He despite his ranking and position presented himself to Jesus. He asked if Jesus would be willing to heal the sickness that had overcome his servant. Jesus offered to come to the centurions home, but he did not feel worthy. Yet he had FAITH! So much so that the centurion believed if Jesus just spoke of something with His mouth it would come to pass.
 And so it did: Matthew

Well there was a miracle in room 445 @ Oschner main campus pediatric floor. In the last post many of you came to the call of prayer. I believe that
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." Matthew‬ ‭18:20‬‬
Even more so I have always thought when so many gather in prayer the more that do pray, wether outloud in anguish, or quietly it becomes a resounding sound in the ears of Jesus. There is no way for Him to ignore the cries of His children’s, and their needs. You all cried our for Emerson! Though he may be still admitted YOUR PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED! No further active bleeding. Though there is some residual, he is doing so well, and has managed to give a mild smile.
As a mother thank you could never be enough, but I know that in those 48 hours, I held on to faith. Faith in a God who loved us so much that he allowed His own son, Jesus to die a brutal death on a cross, for our sins.

Father Go, thank you for your mercy that your poured out on our son in His hour of need. For the faith of your children who called out to you in one accord for Emerson in his time of need. Without hesitation because of our faith a miracle happened. Amen

Now we are not out of the woods currently
✅numbers
*still with black stool (this stems from blood that has sat in his gut, and finally is moved through)
*may need platelets tomorrow(drop from 125 to 78)
*hemoglobin is stable (thus would show if he would need more blood), but not at this time
*hus white blood cells have gone from .05 to .07
😳exactly that’s nothing, but there going up, so that means his body is attempting to basically recreate his immune system
✅housekeeping has kept busy with all the sheets we dirty
✅his pain medicine, morphine is very 2 hours
✅still not able to feed him through the g-tube
*want to make sure no more further bleeding, and counts hold strong
✅the mucositis, that is visible to our eyes in his mouth is just horrific...can’t imagine how his entire gastrointestinal lining is

We continue to ask for prayers. Yes I know I have received many messages in regards to what can you do for us, and many of you have loved on my husband and kids and I’m grateful for that. I too have had opportunities to spend with my oldest. The reality is that your Finacial support is needed. I know you may think: well I don’t have much to offer. Well I will leave you with thus
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:7‬‬
Many of you have given not once but more, and I thank you for allowing such vulnerability but also faith in trusting that my family is functioning and thriving and paying towards the medical bills because of what you have offered.
So if you are willing to remember when you click on the blog to PRS: pray, read and share

  1. Luke 17: (14) 14 On seeing them, he said, “Go and let the priest examine you!” And as they went, they were cleansed. 15 One of them, as soon as he noticed that he had been healed, returned shouting praises to God, 16 and fell on his face at Jesus feet to thank him. Now he was from Samaritan.
