P.C.: Prayer and Care

Thank you for baby Emerson that you can take his cancer out and he can get well so we can play with him. (From the mouth of ATH my nephew).
This was his prayer thus evening prior to going to bed. Now what exactly is a prayer? It is defined as follows:
*a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship.

Now we can all be honest about how we pray. Often times there is selfish intent and our desire is to fulfill something for ourselves. Thing is God already knows the ‘desires’ of your heart. However if you see out His word
"Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Psalm‬ ‭37:4‬
It’s not as easy as just wishing something and hoping it will come true. God is not a genie in a lamp (like Aladdin 🧞‍♂️)
One must first seek out the Lord, in doing so you may come to find out that your heart desires are not aligned with what He desires for you. If that is the case you will find yourself in a pickle of a situation.
*as you may desire more $ in your bank account; or for you to get into that school, or get a promotion
So basically we must set our eyes on a Christ, and ultimately our hearts desires will be of the Lord.

So seeking Christ comes with the acknowledgment that things may not get done in time as I wanted. That in the end I desire his will to be done above all else.
That has been a bit of a teeter totter situation for me as of late. Especially with Emerson having some setbacks
electrolytes brings out of wake
weaning from morphine
*showing signs of possible withdrawal during a lowered dosage
having borderline fevers
learning a lab was abnormal
*fungal analysis from blood work was positive—> we are awaiting a CT of his chest, abdomen and pelvis.
We have a long night ahead, as we still haven’t gone down for these images yet (they have been recently placed STAT or what you may say ASAP).

This is also such an easy opening for satan to discourage us, but actually this is the time to cling closer to Christ.

Father God, thank you for Mac, and the joy he brings to us. Although Mac likes to keep us on our toes, we believe in your sovereignty and your great power. In time you will reveal your will for Emerson. May we continue to seek you out for healing to his body. That it would be rid of cancer, and it would be renewed so that he can enjoy all of us whom love him dearly. I’m Jesus name, Amen

How do you show you care? Right now during this time it’s hard to respond to request of ‘what can I do?’
My sister venturing out with two kids in tow into Walmart to get me some new bottles to try with Emerson.
My hubby dropping in for a moment, because he felt the need to see us both.
My mother coming down, after a long day at work, to massage Mac.
My mother in law loving on my kids, and her willingness to adventure with them.
Messages being sent out to pray simultaneously for Emerson.
✅People coming together to do a project at our home.

Thank you for caring for us, no matter how small or big.

  2. 2 Corinthians 1:(3)  Praised be God, Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, compassionate Father, God of all encouragement and comfort; (4) who encourages us in all our trials, so that we can encourage others in whatever trials they may be undergoing with the encouragement we ourselves have received from God.

    (5) For just as the Messiah’s sufferings overflow into us, so through the Messiah our encouragement also overflows. (6) So if we undergo trials, it is for your encouragement and deliverance; and if we are encouraged, that should encourage you when you have to endure sufferings like those we are experiencing. (7) Moreover, our hope for you remains staunch, because we know that as you share in the sufferings, you will also share in the encouragement.
