Pain pain go away...

Short post here everyone. So last night went as well as we could hope. Feeding every 2 hours off for 2. Not much vomit episodes, and the stuff we let drain was improving.
However since this morning Emerson has been crying, more like yelling. Despite pain medications, sedatives and anti-sedative etc. this  poor guy is wailing. I mean real tears. 
At this point I have stopped his feeds and I’m emptying his stomachs every few hours, called venting. Basically I place the tube I feed him with or a wider one and just let gravity work.

I’m trying my best not to just SCREAM!
I told Emerson that I am not happy that 
Bad cells of cancer➡️led to us having to start chemo ➡️side effects of chemo=why we have been stuck in the hospital.
The way that he has cried it would appear that someone had physically hurt him. 
We are not going into the next day and he is asleep, currently. I am unsure how long this will last. He hasn’t slept much during the day despite all the medications. At this point point he has burped quite a bit and we doing a few Hershey kisses ðŸ’© in the diaper. I’m not sure if you as an adult have experienced the feeling of being constipated, or being gassy. It’s no joke! ðŸ¥´
I mean I was claiming victory when Mac burped! It’s a bit difficult to massage his belly, and he won’t quite let me bend his legs. 

Father God thank you for another day. Again I’m honored to be Emerson’s mommy. I pray that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you release Mac from whatever ails him. Do not let him suffer. If this situation is just a matter of flatulence or good bowel movement please allow his little body to do so. In Jesus name. Amen

Ps.yes please Jesus, I don’t like feeling this way. Heal my body. Love Mac, Amen

    Lord Jesus your testimony this man ears were opened, and his tongue was loosed. You are not a respectable person, will you open Emerson bowels, cause it to be normal. Also Lord cause the pain to stop, just like you did it for this man who wasvdeaf and couldn't speak, You can do it for Emerson.

    Your Word is alive and we that has been called, justified, glorified and we have been placed into a unshakeable foundation. No disease will never separate us from your love.

    Thank you for your testimony what you did for Emerson. We blesssed You and praise You. Amen

    Lord, please continue to heal Emerson's body and relieve him from his pain and suffering. Continue to strengthen Elizabeth God that can only be described as supernatural. Give her peace when her mind and heart has reach their breaking points. Help her to continue to trust you and lean into you. I pray that you will continue to cover her entire family as they go through this unspeakable hardship. May you continue to bond her and Elvin together as they fight together this battle. May they continue to be each other's safe space and when they come on the other side of this fight, they will be stronger as a couple and connected as a family. In Jesus name. Amen.

    Praying for the absence of fever praying that Emerson would tolerate his feelings without vomiting. Praying that Lft will make a sharp decline and that WBC's and platelets make a healthy increase. Praying that all this suffering is leading to absence of cancer cells and successful transplant. Also praying for a boost
    in Emerson's immune system and his return to the breast for his nutrition . Praying for a complete healing of Emerson's GI tract. In Jesus's name AMEN . From ms. Sheryl

Caution, this post is real, as they all are. However it may make some of you uncomfortable.  Have you every watched Moana? There is a scene where moana is after Maui. Well in the middle of the night as she is voyaging there is a storm, she ask the water to help. She wakes up ship wrecked on an island and is upset, because she believes she is off course. She realizes she landed on the island where Maui has been. Well let me give you a better picture. The disciples sitting in a boat, and there is a bad storm. All the while Jesus is asleep. WHAT! 🥶 That is how we are feeling down here in New Orleans. I mean it went from like low 70s to upper 40s. We are not use to this sort of weather. The kids are all bundled up, and I can’t seem to put on enough layers in order to keep warm. Emerson, Ayeya and I are at clinic today. Mac has already had his blood drawn, and we are waiting to get our numbing patch placed. It will hopefully help decrease the pain of the lumbar puncture. Our hope is to get more than 1ml so that some can be sent for flow cytometry again. The thought is that Mac may have a bi-phenotype of leukemia, which means there is a combination rather than one focal type. This also means additional medication may be warranted to get rid of the bad cells.  We are currently waiting for the chemo medications to arrive in order to place the numbing patch. Poor guys, will once again be scrunched like an accordion. There are moments that I am grateful he is still so small that he won’t remember all of this:   ✔️ poking
